Remove/install dashboard - AR68.10-P-1000LF

REMOVINGINSTALLING Remove/install     
1 Remove center console   AR68.20-P-2000LF 
2 Remove right and left side cover from instrument panel (1)    
3 Remove trim piece from instrument panel (1)   AR68.10-P-1180LF 
4 Remove glove compartment   AR68.10-P-1400LF 
5 Remove cover below instrument panel (1) on left   AR68.10-P-1500LF 
6 Remove air ducts below instrument panel (1) on left and right    
7 Remove paneling on A-pillar   AR68.30-P-4050LF 
8 Remove steering wheel   AR46.10-P-0100LF
9 Remove display module   AR54.30-P-6023LF
10 Remove steering column tube module   AR54.25-P-2802LF
11 Remove side air vents   AR83.10-P-4740LF
12 Disconnect electrical connector from left/right potentiometer   AR83.10-P-4506LF
13 Remove speaker (8) MODEL 222.0/1/9
with CODE 810 (Sound system)
MODEL 222.0/1/9
with CODE 811 (Advanced sound system)
MODEL 222.0/1
with CODE 348 (Emergency call/assistant system)
 
14 Remove speaker (9) MODEL 222.0/1/9
with CODE 811 (Advanced sound system)
 
15 Remove bolts (2)    
16 Separate cable tie (7) INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Replace cable tie (7).  
17 Remove left fuse and relay module (K40/6)    
18 Remove exterior lights switch (S1) IMPORTANT Unlock switch (S1) through opening in instrument panel (1) from rear.  
19 Electrical parking brake switch (S76/15) IMPORTANT Unlock switch (S76/15) through opening in instrument panel (1) from rear.  
20 Unclip antenna (5) from instrument panel (1) IMPORTANT When removing instrument panel (1), guide antenna cable on antenna (5) through instrument panel (1).  
21 Disconnect electrical connector (10)    
22 Disconnect electrical connectors (4)    
23 Unscrew bolts (3 each) from head-up display on left and right MODEL 222.0/1/9
with CODE 463 (Head-up display)
 
24 Lift head-up display and disconnect electrical connector from head-up display MODEL 222.0/1/9
with CODE 463 (Head-up display)
IMPORTANT The head-up-display remains in the instrument panel (1).
 
25 Carefully remove dashboard (1) from vehicle IMPORTANT MODEL 222.0/1/9
with CODE 463 (Head-up display)
When removing head-up display, lift slightly.
INSTALLATION IMPORTANT Ensure that guide pin (3) is seated correctly.
IMPORTANT Helper required.
 
26 Remove head-up display from instrument panel (1) MODEL 222.0/1/9
with CODE 463 (Head-up display)
When replacing instrument panel (1)
 
27 Install in the reverse order
