This introductory information presents the technical innovations and modifications of the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter model 907. In particular, it is intended to provide information in the areas of service, maintenance/repair, and Aftersales. The reader should be familiar with Mercedes-Benz model series currently on the market.

Introduction 

The successor of Sprinter model 906 is presented in two versions. Sprinter model 907 with rear wheel drive replaces model 906. With model 910, a Sprinter with front wheel drive is being offered for the first time.

Focuses of the Sprinter model 907 product design compared with the previous model series are:

• New design elements for the exterior, side wall, and doors
• New radiator grille options
• Optionally painted bumpers in one of four colors
• New design of the exterior lighting
• Redesigned instrument clusters and instrument panel with modular stowage concept
• New Telematics Generation with 7" or 10.25" touchscreen
• High-performance roof-mounted air conditioning system for tourers and panel vans
• New networking architecture
• Operation of the automatic transmission via control levers or gearshift paddles on the steering wheel
