Front headlamp

The new Sprinter is equipped as standard with halogen headlamps. Code LG7 (LED High Performance headlamps) is available as special equipment. The headlamps are designed in full LED technology. The low beam uses LED projection technology, while the high beam uses LED reflection technology. During the ordering of the LED headlamps, the code L22 (Rear lamps in partial LED technology) is automatically added.
Rear lamps
In combination with halogen headlamps, the rear lamps are installed with conventional bulbs.
In combination with code LG7 (LED High Performance headlamps), the rear lamps are equipped via the automatically added code L22 (Rear lamps in partial LED technology) in the case of closed vehicle model designations in partial LED technology and in open vehicle model designations in full LED technology. The rear lamps in partial LED technology include the following functions in LED technology in closed vehicle model designations:
- Brake light
The remaining functions (rear fog lamps, reversing lamps and turn signal lights) operate conventionally with bulbs.
Rotating beacons
For the new Sprinter, yellow rotating beacons in LED technology can optionally be ordered. In closed vehicle model designations as code LB7 (Front left and rear right yellow rotating beacons) and in open vehicle model designations as code LB8 (Front left yellow rotating beacon). The beacons are activated and deactivated via a switch in the instrument panel. The compact, approx. 100 mm high and approx. 140 mm in diameter large rotating beacons are characterized by a long service life as well as being maintenance-free.
