| 1 | Switch off ignition and store transmitter key outside of transmitter range (min. 2 m). | ||

| 3 | Release and disconnect electrical connections on intake camshaft solenoid (Y49/1) and exhaust camshaft solenoid (Y49/2). | ||
| 4 | Unclip the electrical wiring harness along the upper timing case cover (1) on the cylinder head cover (3). | ||
