	Remove
1	Remove upper engine cover
2	Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter
3	Turn clamping device (4) on multi-tooth pin (3) counterclockwise and lock with a suitable drift
4	Remove the poly-V belt (1)
	Install
5	Check the poly-V belt (1) for damage and replace if necessary		AP13.22-P-1351-01A
6	Check clamping device (4) for damage and replace if necessary		AR13.25-P-3220MRD
7	Check guide pulley for damage and replace if necessary	Engine 274.9 in model 213.048/049/148 Engine 274.9 in model 238.348/448 Bolt, guide pulley to alternator	*BA13.25-P-1004-01Z
8	Check vibration damper for damage and replace if necessary		AR03.30-P-1800MRD
9	Check belt pulley for alternator for damage and replace if necessary		AR15.40-P-5710MRD
10	Check belt pulley for A/C compressor for damage and replace if necessary	Engine 274.9 in model 238	AR83.55-P-5310LWK

11	Fit on poly-V belt (1)	Routing diagram for poly-V belt Do not use belt wax or similar products. This leads to slipping of the poly-V belt (1).	AR13.22-P-3902-02MRD
12	Pull out drift (1) and tension poly-V belt with clamping device (4)
13	Push back clamping device (4) onto multi-tooth pin (3) clockwise using a torque	Pretension for poly-V belts on multi-tooth clamping device	*BA13.25-P-1005-01Z
14	Risk of accident from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.
