	Notes on threaded connections fastened using a tightening angle-based tightening process		AH00.00-P-0020-01A
	Remove
1	Remove poly-V belt	Engine 274.9 in model 213 (except 213.050) Engine 274.9 in model 238
			AR13.22-P-1202MRD
2	Remove engine air intake duct upstream of air filter	Engine 274.9 in model 213.050
3	Install retaining lock for crankshaft (4)		AR03.30-P-5001MRD
4	Remove center bolt (1)
5	Detach vibration damper (2) from crankshaft (4) and remove
	Install
6	Check contact surface of the radial shaft sealing ring (3) on the hub of the vibration damper (2) for score marks and galling	In a case of score marks and galling ↓ Replace vibration damper (2) and radial shaft sealing ring (3).

7	Check radial shaft sealing ring (3) for damage	If damage is present ↓ Install a new radial shaft sealing ring (3).

8	Position vibration damper (2) on the crankshaft (4)	Through turning motions ensure that the feather key of the crankshaft (4) engages in the groove on the belt pulley/vibration damper (2).
9	Screw in new center bolt (1)	Center bolt, belt pulley to crankshaft	*BA03.30-P-1001-01S
10	Remove retaining lock for crankshaft (4)		AR03.30-P-5001MRD
11	Install engine air intake duct upstream of air filter	Engine 274.9 in model 213.050
12	Install poly-V belt	Engine 274.9 in model 213 (except 213.050) Engine 274.9 in model 238

	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear buttoned-up and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
13	Perform engine test run and check engine in the area of the vibration damper (2) for leaktightness
