	Remove/install
1	Open engine hood and position vertically.		AR88.40-P-1000RG
2	Remove front bumper.		AR88.20-P-2000RG
3	Remove the front left and right fender.		AR88.10-P-1000RG
4	Remove the left and right lamp units.		AR82.10-P-4730RG
5	Unclip and remove the top engine cover (1).
6	Unclip and remove the front engine interior compartment cover (2).
7	Remove left and right engine hood catch lower part.		AR88.40-P-3200RG
8	Detach the cable shaft o the left (3) and right (4).
9	Remove the expansion rivet (5) and detach the left and right air duct from the upper front reinforcement (11).
10	Unscrew the bolts (6) and remove the crossmember (7).
11	Unscrew the bolts (8) and remove the strut from the upper front reinforcement (11).	Carefully perform all work on the upper front reinforcement (11), particularly when removing the front cover. The surface coating of the top front reinforcement (11) which is made of magnesium can otherwise be damaged. In the event of damage, repair by means of post-repair refinishing is only permitted down to the magnesium base material. Replace the component in the event of any damage to the magnesium base material.
12	Unscrew the bolts (9) and remove the reinforcement under this from the upper front reinforcement (11).	Bolt, catch hook reinforcement	*BA62.30-P-1004-02N
13	Remove screws (10).
14	Remove the upper front reinforcement (11).	Treat upper front reinforcement (11) and lay down and store to prevent scratches, score marks or other damage. In the event of damage, repair by means of post-repair refinishing is only permitted down to the magnesium base material. Replace the component in the event of any damage to the magnesium base material.
15	Install in the reverse order.
