| 1 | Remove headliner from front soft top | AR77.30-P-1007RGR | |
| 2 | Remove front seal of soft top on side window of front door | AR77.30-P-3361RGR | |
| 3 | Remove rear seal of soft top on side window of front door | AR77.30-P-3363RGR | |
| 4 | Remove screws (3) | ||
| 5 | Unhook retaining strip (4) of soft top canvas (2) on soft top bow (5). | ||
| 6 | Fold soft top canvas (2) back until front end of tightening rope (1) on soft top bow (5) is accessible | ||
| 7 | Unhook retaining strip (6) of soft top canvas (2) on soft top frame | ||
| 8 | Fold the soft top canvas (2) back until the rear end of the tension cable (1) and the guide (7) are accessible | ||
| 9 | Fold over chafe protection (8), unhook tension cable (1) from spring and remove tension cable (1) from guide (7) | ||
| 10 | Unhook the front end of the tension cable (1) on the soft top bow (5) (arrow A) | ||
| 11 | Fasten the rear end of the new tension cable (1) to the front end of the old tension cable (1) | ||
| 12 | Pull the old tension cable (1) to the rear out of the soft top canvas (2) so that the new tension cable (1) is pulled into the soft top canvas (2) | ||
| Install | |||
| 13 | Remove old tension cable (1) from new tension cable (1) | ||
| 14 | Hook the front end of the tension cable (1) on the soft top bow (5) (arrow A) | ||
| 15 | Insert the tension cable (1) into the guide (7), fold over chafe protection (8) and hook the tension cable (1) into the spring | ||
| 16 | Hook retaining strip (6) of soft top canvas (2) on soft top frame | ||
| 17 | Hook retaining strip (4) of soft top canvas (2) on soft top bow (5) | ||
| 18 | Replace and tighten bolts (3) | ||
| 19 | Install rear seal of soft top on side window of front door | AR77.30-P-3363RGR | |
| 20 | Install front seal of soft top on side window of front door | AR77.30-P-3361RGR | |
| 21 | Install headliner on front soft top | AR77.30-P-1007RGR | |
| Check | |||
| 22 | Open, close soft top and check for correct function and tension of soft top canvas (2) |
