	Remove
1	Remove differential assembly (1)		AR35.30-P-0432GG
2	Detach drive flange (10) on drive pinion (4)	Model 460 Model 461 (except 461. 331) Model 463 (except 463.270/271) up to model year 2013	AR35.30-P-0472F
3	Remove radial sealing rings (6) on drive pinion (4)	Model 460 Model 461 (except 461. 331) Model 463 (except 463.270/271) up to model year 2013/Mopf2012	AR35.30-P-4670F
4	Use a suitable drift to drive out drive pinion (4) from axle housing and remove with strain ring (8)
	Check
5	Clean parts, check and replace if necessary	For defective components:
		↓
		Disassemble/assemble drive pinion (4) Model 460 Model 461 (except 461. 331) Model 463 (except 463.270/271) up to model year 2013/Mopf2012	AR35.30-P-0459F
	Install
6	Mount strain ring (8) to drive pinion (4)	Always replace strain ring (8).
7	Install drive pinion (4)	Screw support bridge (3) onto axle housing and fit spindle to drive pinion (4).

8	Drive in outer tapered roller bearing (12) using suitable sleeve
9	Install radial sealing rings (6) on drive pinion (4)	Model 460 Model 461 (except 461. 331) Model 463 (except 463.270/271) up to model year 2013/Mopf2012	AR35.30-P-4670F
10	Install drive flange (10) onto drive pinion (4)	Model 460 Model 461 (except 461. 331) Model 463 (except 463.270/271) up to model year 2013	AR35.30-P-0472F
11	Check friction torque of drive pinion (4)		AR33.30-P-0458-02GG
		Friction torque of bevel gear with gaskets	*BE33.30-P-1001-02A

12	Check concentricity of drive flange (10) and adjust if necessary		AR35.30-P-4671F
