Remove/Install Front Engine Mount - AR22.10-P-4330MMV

	Notes on bolted connections with self tapping screws		AH00.00-P-0007-01SF
	Remove/install
1	Mount engine hoist and raise engine slightly	Only raise engine sufficiently that the engine mount (5) is not under tension.	AR33.10-P-0105LW
2	Remove left catalytic converter	When removing left engine mount (3).	AR49.10-P-5502MMV
3	Remove right catalytic converter	When removing right engine mount (3).	AR49.10-P-5503MMV
4	Remove exhaust pipe downstream of left ATL	When removing left engine mount (3). : Replace clamp and seal. : The dowl pin on the left exhaust pipe must be set in the notch on the left ATL. After screwing down the clamp using the prescribed torque there should be no further gap on the clamp lock. Clamp, exhaust line for catalytic converter to turbocharger	*BA49.10-P-1001-02A
5	Replace exhaust pipe downstream of right ATL	When removing right engine mount (3). : Replace clamp and seal. : The PASS pin on the right exhaust pipe must be placed in the notch on the right ATL. After screwing down the clamp using the prescribed torque there should be no further gap on the clamp lock. Clamp, exhaust line for catalytic converter to turbocharger	*BA49.10-P-1001-02A
6	Remove screws/bolts (1) and remove heat shield (2) of left engine support (3)	When removing left engine mount (3). Bolt, heat shield to engine support	*BA22.10-P-1003-02A
7	Remove screws/bolts (1) and remove heat shield (2) of right engine support (3)	When removing right engine mount (3). Bolt, heat shield to engine support	*BA22.10-P-1003-02A
8	Remove screw/bolts (4) for left engine mount (5)	When removing left engine mount (3). Screw/bolt, front engine mount to front axle carrier	*BA22.10-P-1002-03E
9	Remove screw/bolts (4) for right engine mount (5)	When removing right engine mount (3). Screw/bolt, front engine mount to front axle carrier	*BA22.10-P-1002-03E
10	Disconnect steering coupling	When removing left engine mount (3).	AR46.10-P-8000LW
11	Lift engine a little	Ensure during lifting that no cables and lines lie on the bulkhead. Damage can occur to cables and lines otherwise.
12	Remove heat shield at starter	When removing left engine mount (3).
13	Remove heat shield on knock sensor	When removing left engine mount (3). Screw/bolt, heat shield of knock sensor to crankcase/engine support/bracket	*BA15.10-P-1002-02B
14	Remove screw/bolt, A/C compressor to engine support (3)	When removing left engine mount (3). Screw/bolt, refrigerant compressor to timing case/crankcase/engine support	*BA83.55-P-1001-01M
15	Detach alternator and place to one side with the lines connected	When removing right engine mount (3).	AR15.40-P-5032MMV
16	Remove screw/bolt (6) from left engine mount (5)	When removing left engine mount (3). Bolt, front engine mount to engine support	*BA22.10-P-1001-03E
17	Remove screw/bolt (6) from right engine mount (5)	When removing right engine mount (3). Bolt, front engine mount to engine support	*BA22.10-P-1001-03E
18	Remove screws/bolts (7) and detach left engine support (3)	When removing left engine mount (3). Bolt, engine support to crankcase	*BA22.10-P-1001-02A
19	Remove screws/bolts (7) and detach right engine support (3)	When removing right engine mount (3). Bolt, engine support to crankcase	*BA22.10-P-1001-02A
20	Remove left engine support (3) and left engine mount (5)	When removing left engine mount (3). Pay attention to environmental protection regulations for disposal of engine mounts (5). Dispose of left engine mounts (5) into mixed scrap. Always replace left or right engine mounts (5) in pairs.
21	Remove right engine support (3) and right engine mount (5)	When removing right engine mount (3). Pay attention to environmental protection regulations for disposal of engine mounts (5). Dispose of right engine mounts (5) into mixed scrap. Always replace left or right engine mounts (5) in pairs.
22	Install in the reverse order
