	Risk of burn injuries  , suffocation and poisoning when working on the exhaust system and the components connected to it. Risk of suffocation  and risk of poisoning  caused by inhalation of gaseous and solid components of the exhaust. Risk of poisoning  caused by skin contact with solid components of the exhaust.	Wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Use the extraction system. Move people out of the hazard area.	AS49.00-Z-0001-01A
	Risk of injury  caused by scraping or cutting body parts on sharp vehicle parts	Always wear protective gloves when working on or near sharp and non-deburred vehicle parts. Deburr repair panels.	AS00.00-Z-0017-01A

	Remove
1	Remove front and central sections of the lower engine compartment paneling		AR61.20-P-1105LW
2	Release electrical connection for left oxygen sensor upstream of left catalytic converter (1), disconnect and unclip electrical line		AR07.04-P-0081MMV
3	Release electrical connection for left oxygen sensor upstream of left catalytic converter (1), disconnect and unclip electrical line		AR07.04-P-0082MMV
4	Detach left CAT (1) on exhaust pipe (3)
5	Remove mounting clamp (4)
6	Detach left catalytic converter (1) from bracket (2) and remove downwards
7	Remove left oxygen sensor upstream of left catalytic converter (1)	When replacing the left catalytic converter (1).	AR07.04-P-0081MMV
8	Remove left oxygen sensor downstream of left catalytic converter (1)	When replacing the left catalytic converter (1).	AR07.04-P-0082MMV
9	Detach exhaust pipe (3) on left ATL and remove downwards	When replacing the left catalytic converter (1).	AR09.40-P-6037MMV
		The left CAT (1) is always delivered as an ET together with the exhaust pipe (3).
	Install
10	Remove combustion and corrosion residue at connecting points
11	Install left oxygen sensor downstream of left catalytic converter (1)	When replacing the left catalytic converter (1).	AR07.04-P-0082MMV
12	Install left oxygen sensor upstream of left catalytic converter (1)	When replacing the left catalytic converter (1).	AR07.04-P-0081MMV
13	Position left CAT (1) and mount on holder (2)	Nut, bracket for catalytic converter to bracket for torque converter housing	*BA49.10-P-1013-02A
14	Install new mounting clamp (4) on left CAT (1)	Replace seal.
		Clamp, front exhaust system to catalytic converter/diesel particulate filter	*BA49.10-P-1005-02A
15.1	Mount exhaust pipe (3) with left CAT (1) on left ATL	When replacing the left catalytic converter (1).	AR09.40-P-6037MMV
15.2	Detach left CAT (1) on exhaust pipe (3)	For reusing the left CAT (1). Install new seal and screw/bolts.
		Bolt, flange connection for catalytic converter to exhaust line	*BA49.10-P-1016-02A
16	Put together electrical connection for left oxygen sensor downstream of left catalytic converter (1) until it is locked and clip in electrical line		AR07.04-P-0082MMV
17	Put together electrical connection for left oxygen sensor upstream of left catalytic converter (1) until it is locked and clip in electrical line		AR07.04-P-0081MMV
18	Check installation position and unobstructed movement of all components of the exhaust system
	Risk of accident  from vehicle starting off by itself when engine running. Risk of injury  (bruises and burns) resulting from working on the engine while it is being started or when it is running.	Secure vehicle to prevent it from starting off by itself. Wear closed and snug-fitting work clothes. Do not touch hot or rotating parts.	AS00.00-Z-0005-01A
19	Carry out an engine test run and check exhaust system for leaktightness
20	Install front and center sections of lower engine compartment paneling		AR61.20-P-1105LW
