	Preparation
	Notes on removal/installation of windows		AH67.10-P-1000-02RT
1	Prepare 1-component adhesive cartridge	Heating time is approx. 60 minutes.	AR67.10-P-1000-12CW

	Removing
2.1	Unclip left and right water deflector from roof paneling and remove.	Model 204.0
2.2	Remove left and right front water deflector	Model 204.2	-

3	Remove covers (2) on inside of rear glass cover (1).
4	Remove mobile phone roof antenna and global positioning system or dummy roof antenna	Model 204.0	AR82.70-P-8951CW
5	Remove left and right control slide (3)		AR77.21-P-0510CW
6	Mask left and right side roof paneling with suitable adhesive tape	Masking prevents damaging vehicle paintwork in repair area.
7	Unscrew nut (6) and remove rear gate (7)	On left and right side of panoramic roof.
8.1	Determine gap dimension (A) between rear glass cover and rear-end window (8).	Model 204.0
8.2	Determine gap dimension (A) between rear	Model 204.2/9
9	Determine reference dimension (B) on left and right side of panoramic roof between guide rail (4) and guide strip (5) with vernier caliper.	Precisely determine reference dimension (B), otherwise the front glass roof cannot be guided correctly after installation and the panoramic roof can be damaged.
10	Insert cutting wire with puller from window removal set through adhesive bead (9) on rear glass cover (1).	Position puller on left side of vehicle approx. 10 cm from the rear corner of the rear glass cover (1) and punch through circumferential adhesive bead (9) (arrow). "Veritrac" window removal tool, cutting wire
11	Risk of injury  due to tear or warming up of cutting wire and through glass splinters when cutting out glued windows Cut out rear glass cover (1) with cutting wire and remove from panoramic roof frame (10)	Wear protective gloves and safety glasses. On model 204.2/9 ensure that the gasket (11) is not damaged when guiding the cutting wire. Do not cut between the rear glass cover (1) and the guide strips (5). The guide strips (5) remain on the rear glass cover (1). Helper required "Veritrac" window removal tool, cutting wire Suction lifting device	AS67.00-Z-0004-01A
	Install
12	Prepare rear glass cover (1) for installation	Do not touch bonding surfaces on inside of rear glass cover (1) with bare fingers. The bonding surfaces must be free of dust, oil, grease, wax, dirt residues and other adhesive components, otherwise the adhesive force of the glued connection is impaired. 13	Check seal (11) on panoramic roof frame (10), replace if necessary	On model 204.2/9
14	Prepare panoramic roof frame (10) for installing rear glass cover (1)	Do not touch bonding surfaces on panoramic roof frame (10) with bare fingers. The bonding surfaces must be free of dust, oil, grease, wax, dirt residues and other adhesive components, otherwise the adhesive force of the glued connection is impaired.	AR77.21-P-0600-05CW

15	Apply adhesive material to rear glass cover (1)	Do not touch bonding surfaces with bare fingers. The bonding surfaces must be free of dust, oil, grease, wax, dirt residues and other adhesive components, otherwise the adhesive force of the glued connection is impaired.	AR77.21-P-0600-03CW

16	Install rear glass cover (1)	Precisely keep reference dimension (B), otherwise the front glass roof is not guided correctly and the panoramic roof can be damaged.	AR77.21-P-0600-06CW
		Use weights with large surface such as sandbags to place load on the rear glass cover (1), otherwise the rear glass cover (1) can be damaged. Observe gap dimension (A). Helper required	Fig 5
17	Insert rear gate (7) and tighten nut (6)	On left and right side of panoramic roof.
18	Install left and right control slide (3)		AR77.21-P-0510CW
19	Remove adhesive tape on left and right side roof paneling
20	Install covers (2)
