	Remove/install
1	Remove headliner from roof paneling and place down as far forward as possible on the seats		AR68.30-P-4300CW
2	Release right-hand paneling (2) in upper area far enough until the electrical connectors (3) are accessible	Only when removing the multifunction antenna (A28/11) with code (386) Mobile phone, with code (389) Mobile phone preinstallation with universal interface USA/ Canada, with code (359) TELE AID emergency call system, with code (511) Audio 50 APS with DVD changer, with code (525) MB Audio 50 APS radio, with code (512) COMAND APS with DVD changer, with code (527) COMAND APS with single DVD drive (with navigation), with code (537) Digital radio and with code (536) SIRIUS satellite radio)
3	Expose antenna lines (4) and disconnect electrical connectors (3) of antenna lines (4)	Only when removing the multifunction antenna (A28/11) with code (386) Mobile phone, with code (389) Mobile phone preinstallation with universal interface USA/ Canada, with code (359) TELE AID emergency call system, with code (511) Audio 50 APS with DVD changer, with code (525) MB Audio 50 APS radio, with code (512) COMAND APS with DVD changer, with code (527) COMAND APS with single DVD drive (with navigation), with code (537) Digital radio and with code (536) SIRIUS satellite radio) The number of antenna lines (4) and electrical connectors (3) depends on the vehicle equipment specification. Installation:  Note color coding of electrical connectors (3).
4	Unscrew nut (5) and detach roof antenna mock-up (1) or multifunction antenna (A28/11) from roof	The multifunction antenna (A28/11) must not be dismantled, since this will cause damage. Installation:  Check the seal (6), replace if necessary and clean sealing surfaces.

5	Install in the reverse order
