Anti-theft alarm system (ATA [EDW]), function - GF80.50-P-0001T

MODEL 211.0/2 with CODE (551a) Anti-theft alarm system (ATA) 

The anti-theft alarm (ATA) secures the vehicle against theft and break-in by triggering an alarm.

The system has an alarm horn (H3), sensors at door and hood contacts as well as an ATA tilt sensor (B33).

The alarm is output according to the applicable regulations:

• Acoustic alarm from alarm horn (H3).
• Optical alarm by actuating vehicle lamps

• Right front door contact switch (S17/4),
• Left rear door contact switch (S17/5),
• Right rear door contact switch (S17/6),
• ATA engine hood switch (S62),
• Trunk lid contact switch (S88/6) (only model 211.0),
• Tailgate locking unit (A72) (only model 211.2),
• Alarm horn (H3),
• ATA tilt sensor (B33),
• Trailer hitch socket, 13-pin (X58) (only with code (550) Trailer hitch).
