Retrofitting folding outside mirrors - AN88.70-P-0001A

MODEL 210 Left-hand steering 

On vehicles equipped with folding outside mirrors it is possible to fold the outside mirrors down against the vehicle when driving through narrow doors or passages.

	Removal
1	Disconnect ground lead from battery		AR54.10-P-0003A
2	Remove door sill moldings on both front doors
3	Remove door sill moldings on both rear doors
4	Remove left and right front seats		AR91.10-P-1000F
5	Remove rear seat and rear backrest	MODEL 210.0	AR91.12-P-1700F
		MODEL 210.2	AR91.12-P-1700FA
6	Remove cover on shift lever		AR68.20-P-2310F
7	Remove center console		AR68.20-P-2000F
8	Remove rear floor covering
9	Remove bottom section of B-pillar paneling on left and right
10	Remove cover at bottom of A-pillar on left and right
11	Remove air duct in left and right front footwells
12	Remove cover below instrument panel on left		AR68.10-P-1500F
13	Open left and right wiring duct covers
14	Remove door liner on left and right front doors		AR72.10-P-1000F
15	Remove outer mirror housing		AR88.70-P-9040E
	Installation
16	Retrofit frame floor wiring harness		AN88.70-P-0001-01A
17	Retrofit front door wiring harness		AN88.70-P-0001-02A
18	Convert outside rearview mirror		AN88.70-P-0001-03A
19	Install in opposite order	Steps 15-1.
20	Check for proper function
