REMOVING Remove     
IMPORTANT Notes on radio installation Model 203.0. AH82.60-P-0001-03P
1 Connect quiescent current retention device   AR54.10-P-1030-07I
    COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE TOOLS *WH58.30-Z-1012-09A 
DANGER Risk of explosion  from explosive gas. Risk of poisoning and caustic burns  from swallowing battery electrolyte. Risk of injury  through burns to skin and eyes from battery acid or when handling damaged lead-acid batteries No fire, sparks, naked flames or smoking. Wear acid-protective gloves, clothing and eye protection. Pour battery electrolyte only into suitable and appropriately marked containers. AS54.10-Z-0001-01A
2 Disconnect ground cable at battery   AR54.10-P-0003P
NOTES Battery notes All types. AH54.10-P-0001-01A

REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR
Remove radio    
    Model 203
Code (750a) MB Audio 30 RDS radio, except Code (753) MB Audio 10 RDS radio, except Code (756a) MB Audio 10 RDS radio with CD tray.

4 Remove right front floor covering    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR68.20-P-2070P
5 Remove left front floor covering    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR68.20-P-2050P
6 Open right wiring duct    
7.1 Open left wiring duct IMPORTANT When installing antenna lead.  
8.1 Remove side cushion on rear seat backrest IMPORTANT When installing antenna lead.  
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR91.12-P-1710P
9 Remove paneling on left C-pillar and lay down to side IMPORTANT When installing antenna lead.
Do not remove seat belts from paneling.
 
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR68.30-P-4490P
10 Loosen headliner IMPORTANT The pre-embossed gluing point for the antenna module on the rear window should be accessible at the top.  
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR68.30-P-4300P
INSTALLING Install     
11.1 Install antenna amplifier module IMPORTANT Only required on radios with antenna diversity.  
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR82.62-P-8300P
    IMPORTANT Treat gluing surface on roof with glass primer. *BR00.45-Z-1019-02A 
    IMPORTANT Use activator. *BR00.45-Z-1023-04A 
12 Retrofit radio wiring harness   AZ82.60-P-0003-01P 
13 Fit remaining parts to vehicle 10 - 1    
14.1 Enable radio code IMPORTANT See owner's manual (only if device code is being interrogated).
