Retrofit anti-theft-alarm system (ATA) with towing sensor (TS) - AN80.50-P-0002A

REMOVING Remove     
1 Remove front seats    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR91.10-P-1000F
2 Remove rear seat and rear backrest Models 210.0/6  
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR91.12-P-1700F
3 Remove rear seat cushion Model 210.2  
4 Disconnect ground cable of battery    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR54.10-P-0003A
5 Remove fuse box in rear passenger compartment and place to one side    
6 Remove pneumatic system equipment IMPORTANT The ex-factory installed pneumatic system equipment (PSE) must be replaced by a control unit with an ATA connection capability

7 Remove center console    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR68.20-P-2000F
8 Remove cover on center console    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR68.20-P-2350F
9 Remove cover below instrument panel (left)    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR68.10-P-1500F
10 Remove front floor covering (left)    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR68.20-P-2050F
11 Remove hot-air outlets of rear footwell at left and right    
12 Remove rear floor covering    
13 Open cable ducts on vehicle floor    
14 Remove fuse blocks, control modules and relays from the fuse and relay box IMPORTANT Do not disconnect cables  
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR54.15-P-1255EB
15 Expose passage of fuse and relay box to the driver's footwell    
16 Remove control module box    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR54.20-P-1257A
17 Remove air cleaner    
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR09.10-P-1050C
18 Remove washing water tank for washer system and headlamp cleaning system    
19 Remove right front wheel    
20 Remove right front fender skirt at rear of wheel house    
INSTALLING Install     
21 Cut opening for switch in covering IMPORTANT Opening for ATA interior/towing/ status indicator switch (S85/2) in the center console's covering  
REFER TO TESTING & REPAIR     AR68.20-P-2030A
22 Line up the ATA interior/towing/status indicator switch (S85/2) to match the opening in the covering and clip it into the switch strip    
23 Install the PSE control module

24 Retrofit wiring harness Models 210.0/6   AN80.50-P-0001-01A 
    Model 210.2 AN80.50-P-0001-01B 
25 Retrofit the engine hood switch   AN80.50-P-0001-04A 
26 Retrofit alarm siren   AN80.50-P-0001-02A 
    Preservation agent *BR00.45-Z-1003-05A 
27 Retrofit inclination sensor   AN80.50-P-0001-05A 
28 Fit remaining parts to vehicle    
29 Conduct control unit coding for the pneumatic system equipment using the HHT    
30 Check functionality of antitheft alarm system with towing sensor    
31 Amend special equipment code 551 in FDOK
