Performing chassis alignment check - AR40.20-P-0200FB

MODEL 210 with CODE (979) Special protected version with CODE (Z04) Light armor plating with CODE (Z06) B6 plating 

MEASURING Measuring, adjusting     
1 Drive vehicle onto electronic measuring system Measuring system has to be approved by
Mercedes-Benz.
 
    IMPORTANT Pay attention to general information for checking chassis alignment. AR40.20-P-0201FB 
2     Release rotating and sliding plates
3 Insert brake pedal winch at brake pedal SPECIAL TOOL Figure
4 Attach Mercedes-Benz quick-clamp holders   AR40.20-P-0230FB 
5 Attach measuring heads and adjust    
6 Perform initial measurement    
7.1 Check vehicle level at front and rear axles, adjust if necessary IMPORTANT With Mercedes-Benz measuring device AR40.20-P-0300FB 
7.2 Check vehicle level at front and rear axles with electronic inclination measuring equipment, adjust if necessary IMPORTANT With electronic inclination measuring equipment AR40.20-P-0301FB 
8 Check toe-in of rear wheels and adjust   AR40.20-P-0332FB 
9 Check camber and caster at front axle and adjust   AR40.20-P-0322FB 
10 Check camber at rear axle   AR40.20-P-0331FB 
11 Check toe-in of front wheels and adjust   AR40.20-P-0323FB 
12 Check toe-out on turns   AR40.20-P-0325FB 
13 Perform final measurement    
14 Take off measuring heads    
15 Take out brake pedal winch    
16 Drive vehicle off the measuring system    
17 Secure rotating plates
