1.1 Check vehicle level at front and rear axle and adjust, if necessary IMPORTANT With Mercedes-Benz measuring device. AR40.20-P-0300FB
1.2 Check vehicle level at front and rear axle with electronic inclination measuring instrument and adjust, if necessary IMPORTANT With electronic inclination measuring instrument. AR40.20-P-0301FB
2 Check camber at rear axle IMPORTANT The camber cannot be adjusted at the rear axle.
Large deviations at the rear wheel camber may be caused by the following:
  • Difference in vehicle level too great between the left and right side of the vehicle.
  • Bent camber strut.
  • Frame floor damaged due to an accident.

Difference in level at the mounting points for the rear axle carrier between the left and right side of the body. Experience shows that bending caused by an accident also has an effect on the toe.
