Tripping of anti-theft alarm (ATA), function - GF80.50-P-2004B
MODEL 202 as of 1.6.97 up to 31.5.98, 208, 210.081 /281 up to 31.5.98, 210 (except 210.081 /281) from 1.3.97 to 31.5.98 with CODE (551a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA)
Illustrated on model 210 sedan with code 882 (interior motion sensor (infrared)
The anti-theft alarm (ATA) can be tripped by
- Actuating one of the outer surface contacts , on vehicles with code 882 (interior motion sensor (infrared) also by:
- interior motion sensor (IMS),
- anti-towing sensor opening (TS) .
Assuming that the correct inputs have been activated by activating the ATA .
The armed inputs are checked by the PSE control module (combined) (A37) twice per second. If two checks of the same input in sequence indicate that the input is not in the non-actuated state, the PSE control module triggers an acoustic as well as optical alarm .
On vehicles with code 491 (
), the alarm can also be triggered with the panic switch
on the remote control key.
