MODEL 202, 208, 210 (except, 208.4) as of 1.6.98 with CODE (551a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA)
Function prerequisites
The interior motion sensor (IMS) can be switched off only if
- the anti-theft alarm (ATS) is activated and
- the TS function has not been switched off.
Function
The anti-towing sensor (TS) monitors changes in the position of the parked vehicle which could be caused by an attempt to tow the vehicle away.
An alarm is triggered when the ATA receives a signal to trigger the alarm at the corresponding alarm input from the PSE control module (combined) (A37) . The ATA control module (N26) then triggers the acoustic and optical alarm .
The alarm can be tripped a maximum of three times in sequence by the TS function.
