Tripping alarm with exterior surface contacts, function - GF80.50-P-3015A

MODEL 202 as of 1.6.97, 208, 210.081 /281, 210 (except 210.081 /281) as of 1.3.97 with CODE (551a) Anti-theft alarm (ATA) 

When the anti-theft alarm (ATA)  is activated actuation of an exterior surface contact trips an alarm.

The exterior surface contacts include:

• The front door switches S17/3, S17/4  and rear door switches S17/5  and S17/6  (except model 208).
• The trunk lamp switch (S17/8)  on the trunk lid
• The engine hood switch (ATA) (S62)  on the engine hood a On model 210.2 the tailgate closing assist/interior light switch (A12s1)  on the tailgate.

The prerequisite for tripping an alarm is that the alarm input on the PSE control module (combined) (A37)  , to which the corresponding contact is connected has been switched to the standby state by activating the ATA  .

Once tripped the alarm can no longer be interrupted by discontinuing actuation of the contact, i.e. by closing a door opened previously.
