Magnetic Clutch is Disassembled/Assembled with A/C Compressor Equipped to Vehicle: Notes

- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. (See NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL DISCONNECTION/CONNECTION (US) .)
- Remove the following parts:
- Wheel and tire (RF) (See WHEEL AND TIRE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front over fender (RH) (See FRONT OVER FENDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front under cover No. 2 (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 2 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front under cover No. 1 (See FRONT UNDER COVER No. 1 REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front deflector (RH) (See DEFLECTOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Front splash shield (RH) (See SPLASH SHIELD REMOVAL/INSTALLATION .)
- Remove the fasteners.
- Bend back the front side of the front mudguard (RH) in the direction of the arrow shown in the illustration.
- Disconnect the magnetic clutch connector. (See A/C COMPRESSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION [SKYACTIV-G] .)
- Disassemble in the order indicated in the table.COMPONENT DESCRIPTION

(See DRIVE BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN L) .)
(See DRIVE BELT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (VIN M) .)5 Snap ring 6 A/C compressor pulley 7 Snap ring 8 Stator
(See STATOR REMOVAL/INSTALLATION NOTE .) - Assemble in the reverse order of disassembly.
- Adjust the magnetic clutch clearance. (See MAGNETIC CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT [SKYACTIV-G] .)
