Removal [09/2023 - 12/2023]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

  2. REMOVE TONNEAU COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  5. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 

    for T24A-FTS Gasoline Model:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

    for T24A-FTS 1Motor-HEV Model:

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  6. REMOVE REAR DECK FLOOR BOX 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  7. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [09/2023 - 12/2023]

  8. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  9. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  10. DISCONNECT REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  11. REMOVE REAR FLOOR FINISH PLATE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 33

  12. REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH BELT HOLE COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 34

  13. DISCONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  14. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36

  15. DISCONNECT REAR NO. 2 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13

  16. REMOVE DECK TRIM POCKET COVER 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 38
  17. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 39

  18. REMOVE ROPE HOOK 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 40
  19. REMOVE ROPE HOOK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Use the same procedure as for the rope hook.
  20. REMOVE DECK TRIM SIDE PANEL ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 42

  21. REMOVE NO. 1 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY WITH BOX (w/ Woofer) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16

  22. REMOVE REAR WHEEL LH 

    Refer to REMOVAL [09/2023 - ]

  23. REMOVE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [09/2023 - 12/2023]

  24. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE SEAL LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 36

  25. REMOVE REAR WHEEL HOUSE LINER LH

  26. REMOVE FUEL LID WITH MOTOR LOCK ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [09/2023 - ] 

  27. REMOVE FUEL FILLER OUTER OPENING LID

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Apply protective tape around the fuel filler opening lid sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
      2. Disengage the claw and 6 guides to remove the fuel filler outer opening lid as shown in the illustration.

  29. REMOVE FUEL FILLER OPENING LID SUB-ASSEMBLY

      *1 Fuel Inlet Box Ring - -
      Push - -
      1. Remove the fuel inlet box ring as shown in the illustration.

      *1 Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Assembly - -
      1. Disconnect the fuel filler opening lid sub-assembly from the fuel tank filler pipe assembly as shown in the illustration.

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Disengage the 4 claws.
      2. Remove the fuel filler opening lid sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
