Installation [06/2018 - 08/2021]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 5 guides as shown in the illustration to temporarily install the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly.

      Install in this Direction - -
      NOTE:
      • Do not damage the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly.
      • Do not allow the wire harnesses to interfere with the surrounding parts.
    2. Install the 6 bolts <B>, 2 clips and nut <E>.
    3. Install the instrument panel safety pad sub-assembly with the 2 bolts <A>.

      Bolt<A> 

      Torque: 20 N*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf) 

    4. Engage each clamp.
    5. Connect each connector.
    6. Engage the 2 claws to connect the cooler (room temp. sensor) thermistor.
  2. CONNECT NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL WIRE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  3. INSTALL NO. 3 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 4 claws as shown in the illustration to install the No. 3 instrument panel register assembly.

  4. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH 
    1. Engage the 6 clips as shown in the illustration to install the No. 2 instrument cluster finish panel garnish.

    2. w/ Ambient Light:
      1. Connect the connector.
  5. INSTALL SWITCH BASE 
    1. Connect the connector.
    2. Engage the 4 claws as shown in the illustration to install the switch base.

  6. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL REGISTER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the connector.
    2. Engage the clip and 7 claws as shown in the illustration to install the No. 2 instrument panel register assembly.

  7. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  8. INSTALL DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) (w/ Manual (SOS) Switch) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 [06/2018 - 10/2019] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [10/2019 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4 [08/2020 - 09/2022]

  9. INSTALL RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH SWITCH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [06/2018 - 08/2020] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7 [08/2020 - 09/2022]

  10. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for RH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  11. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 3 guides and 3 claws as shown in the illustration to install the No. 2 instrument panel speaker panel sub-assembly.

  12. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH ASSEMBLY RH 

    HINT: 

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  13. INSTALL FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for LH Side) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  14. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SPEAKER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 2 guides and 3 claws as shown in the illustration to install the No. 1 instrument panel speaker panel sub-assembly.

  15. INSTALL FRONT PILLAR GARNISH ASSEMBLY LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 30

  16. INSTALL COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

  17. INSTALL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect each connector.
    2. Engage the 13 claws as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the instrument cluster finish panel assembly with the 2 screws <C>.
  18. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL GARNISH 
    1. Engage the 2 clips as shown in the illustration to install the No. 1 instrument cluster finish panel garnish.

  19. INSTALL MULTI-DISPLAY ASSEMBLY WITH CLOCK 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  20. INSTALL FRONT NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY

  21. INSTALL NO. 1 SPEAKER OPENING COVER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the connector.
    2. Engage the 4 claws to install the No. 1 speaker opening cover assembly.

  22. INSTALL UPPER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the 4 guides, 8 clips and 5 claws as shown in the illustration to install the upper instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly.

    1. Engage the 9 clips and 2 claws as shown in the illustration to install the No. 2 instrument cluster moulding.

  26. INSTALL GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect each connector.
    2. Engage the 6 claws as shown in the illustration.

    3. Install the glove compartment door assembly with the 5 screws <C>.
  27. INSTALL LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  28. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Engage the clip and 16 claws as shown in the illustration to install the lower instrument panel sub-assembly.

  29. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL LH 
    1. Engage the guide, 2 clips and 2 claws as shown in the illustration to install the lower instrument panel LH.

    1. Engage the clip and claw as shown in the illustration to install the lower instrument finish sub panel.

  31. INSTALL NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the connector.
    2. Engage the clamp.
    3. Engage the 4 guides and 7 claws as shown in the illustration to install the No. 2 instrument panel under cover sub-assembly.

  36. INSTALL LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

  37. INSTALL LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL 
    1. Connect the connector.
    2. Engage the 3 guides and 4 clips as shown in the illustration to install the lower instrument panel.

    1. Engage the 3 clips and 2 claws as shown in the illustration to install the No. 1 instrument cluster moulding.

    1. Connect each connector.
    2. Engage each clamp.

    4. Install the No. 1 instrument panel sub-assembly with the screw <D>.
    5. Engage the 2 claws.
    6. Engage the 2 guides and claw.
  40. INSTALL NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Connect the connector and engage the 2 clamps.
    2. Engage the 2 claws to connect the DLC3 connector.
    3. Engage the 2 guides and 2 claws as shown in the illustration.
