Removal [12/2021 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE DOOR PULL HANDLE 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
  2. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM BASE 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
  3. REMOVE BACK DOOR LOCK COVER 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5
  4. REMOVE BACK DOOR CENTER GARNISH (w/o Digital Inner Mirror) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  5. REMOVE BACK DOOR CENTER GARNISH WITH NO. 2 BACK DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER (w/ Digital Inner Mirror) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  6. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  7. REMOVE BACK DOOR SIDE GARNISH RH 
    1. Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
  8. REMOVE BACK DOOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12

  9. REMOVE REAR NO. 3 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET (w/ Back Door Speaker) 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8
  10. REMOVE REAR SPOILER SIDE PROTECTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3
  11. REMOVE REAR SPOILER SIDE PROTECTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH 
    1. Use the same procedure described for the LH side.
  12. REMOVE BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Place Hand Here Remove in this Direction
      1. Remove the 2 bolts.
      2. Put protective tape around the back door outside garnish sub-assembly.
      3. Place your hand at the positions shown in the illustration and detach the clip in the order shown in the illustration and remove the back door outside garnish sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
  13. REMOVE REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY 
    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
  14. REMOVE LOWER BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Put protective tape around the lower back door outside garnish.
      2. Using moulding remover B, detach the claw and remove the lower back door outside garnish as shown in the illustration.
  15. REMOVE LOWER BACK DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Remove in this Direction - -
      1. Remove the 4 bolts.
      2. Put protective tape around the lower back door outside garnish sub-assembly.
      3. Using a clip remover with its tip wrapped with protective tape, detach the clip as shown in the illustration.

      Place Hand Here Remove in this Direction
      1. Place your hand at the positions shown in the illustration and detach the clip as shown in the illustration.
      2. Place your hand at the positions shown in the illustration and detach the clip as shown in the illustration.
      3. Place your hand at the positions shown in the illustration and detach the clip and remove the lower back door outside garnish sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
