Installation [10/2018 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSTALL FLOOR UNDER WIRE (for AWD) 
    WARNING:

    Wear insulated gloves.

    1. Engage the 7 clamps to install the HV battery pack wire.
  2. INSTALL FLOOR UNDER WIRE (for AWD) 
    WARNING:

    Wear insulated gloves.

    1. Engage the 2 clamps.

    2. Connect the connector.
    3. Install the HV floor under wire with the nut.

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) 

    4. Insert the HV floor under wire into the floor panel hole and engage the grommet.

    5. Install 3 new clamps in the order shown in the illustration.

    6. Install the HV floor under wire with the 2 nuts.

      Torque: 8.5 N*m (87 kgf*cm, 75 in.*lbf) 

    7. Engage the 5 clamps.

  3. INSTALL FLOOR UNDER WIRE (for 2WD) 
    WARNING:

    Wear insulated gloves.

    1. Engage the 2 clamps.

    2. Connect the connector.
    3. Install the HV floor under wire with the nut.

      Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) 

    4. Insert the HV floor under wire into the floor panel hole and engage the grommet.

  4. INSTALL FRONT SUSPENSION CROSSMEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [10/2018 - 07/2022] Refer to INSTALLATION [07/2022 - ]

  5. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR COVER RH 

    HINT: 

    Perform the same procedure as for the front floor cover LH.

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  6. INSTALL REAR FLOOR SIDE MEMBER COVER LH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  7. REMOVE NO. 1 FLOOR UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for AWD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22 [10/2018 - 07/2022] Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 24 [07/2022 - ]

  8. CONNECT HV BATTERY PACK WIRE (for AWD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  9. CONNECT FLOOR UNDER WIRE (for AWD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  10. INSTALL INVERTER TERMINAL COVER (for AWD) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  11. CONNECT FLOOR UNDER WIRE (for AWD) 
    WARNING:

    Wear insulated gloves.

    1. Connect the shield ground to the HV battery.
    2. Connect the 2 HV battery junction block assembly connectors.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.

  12. CONNECT FLOOR UNDER WIRE (for 2WD) 
    WARNING:

    Wear insulated gloves.

    1. Connect the shield ground to the HV battery.
    2. Connect the 2 HV battery junction block assembly connectors.
      NOTE:

      Make sure that the connectors are connected securely.

  13. INSTALL NO. 1 HV BATTERY COVER PANEL RH

  14. INSTALL BATTERY COOLING BLOWER ASSEMBLY (for AWD)

  15. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LEG SUB-ASSEMBLY

  29. CONNECT ENGINE WIRE 
    WARNING:

    Wear insulated gloves.

    NOTE:

    Do not allow any foreign matter or water to enter the inverter with converter assembly.

    1. Connect the 2 inverter with converter assembly connectors and move each lock lever as shown in the illustration.

      NOTE:
      • To prevent damage due to static electricity, do not touch the terminals of the disconnected connectors.
      • Do not damage the terminals, connector housing or inverter with converter assembly when connecting the connectors.
      • Do not touch the waterproof seal or terminals of the connector.
  30. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP
