Removal [10/2019 - 07/2022]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:
    • After turning the engine switch (for Gasoline Model) or power switch (for HV Model) off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

      Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2018 - 07/2022]

    • When replacing the radio receiver assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a radio receiver assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the following may occur.

      Refer to PRECAUTION [10/2019 - 07/2022]

  2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [10/2018 - 07/2022]

  3. REMOVE NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  4. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL RH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  5. REMOVE LOWER NO. 2 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  7. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

  8. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT CENTER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 14

  9. REMOVE LOWER INSTRUMENT PANEL FINISH CENTER PANEL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 15

  10. REMOVE NO. 1 DEFROSTER NOZZLE GARNISH 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [10/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 21 [08/2021 - 07/2022]

  11. REMOVE METER HOOD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [10/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 23 [08/2021 - 07/2022]

  12. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CENTER CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31 [10/2018 - 08/2021] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 31 [08/2021 - 07/2022]

  13. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Pull the radio receiver assembly with bracket toward the rear of the vehicle to disengage the clips.
    3. Disengage the clamps.

    4. Disconnect each connector and remove the radio receiver assembly with bracket.
  14. REMOVE TELEPHONE ECU WIRE (w/ Roof Antenna) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 3

  15. REMOVE NO. 1 NAVIGATION WIRE (w/ Navigation System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  16. REMOVE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER) (w/ Roof Antenna) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  17. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (w/o Navigation System) 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and No. 1 radio bracket from the radio receiver assembly.

  18. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIO BRACKET (w/ Navigation System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  19. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (w/o Navigation System) 
    1. Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 radio bracket from the radio receiver assembly.

  20. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIO BRACKET (w/ Navigation System) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7
