Removal And Installation: Installation

- Position the steering knuckle assembly (1a) in the vehicle.
- Align the steering knuckle to the front strut and install the strut to knuckle bolts (1b). Tighten the bolts to the proper specification. Refer to FRONT, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Inspect the lower ball joint to verify that the steel ring (1) is still seated properly in the groove of the boot (2).
- Install the lower ball joint (3) to the knuckle (4), and tighten the lower control arm to knuckle bolt (1) to the proper specification. Refer to FRONT, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the wheel speed sensor to the knuckle. Tighten the wheel speed sensor to knuckle bolt (2) to the proper specification. Refer to FRONT, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Position the dust shield to the steering knuckle.
- Install the dust shield to knuckle bolts and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the outer tie rod end to the knuckle. Refer to INSTALLATION, OUTER TIE ROD .
- Install the hub and bearing. Refer to HUB AND BEARING, INSTALLATION .
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
