Installation - Outer Tie Rod

NOTE:
Install the outer tie rod end using the same number of turns as when removed.
- Thread the outer tie rod end (2) to inner tie rod (4).
- Install the outer tie rod end (2) to the steering knuckle (5).
- Install the NEW outer tie rod end nut (1) and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Tighten the tie rod jam nut (3) to the proper specification. Refer to TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to INSTALLATION .
- Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
- Perform wheel alignment setting toe to specifications. Refer to WHEEL ALIGNMENT, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
