Preliminary Procedures Remove the rear seat. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement (Tahoe with HP2) or Rear Seat Replacement (Avalanche/Escalade EXT) or Rear Seat Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Split Bench) or Rear Seat Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Bucket Seat) . Remove the rear seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Bucket) or Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Split Bench) or Rear Seat Back Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Avalanche/Escalade EXT) . Remove the rear seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Bucket) or Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Split Bench) or Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Avalanche/Escalade EXT) .
1	Rear Seat Recliner Bolt (Qty: 4) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
2	Rear Seat Inner Recliner Procedure Note the routing of the recliner cables for installation. Disconnect the recliner cables from the recliner assembly.

Remove the rear seat cushion cover and pad. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Bucket) or Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade with Split Bench) or Rear Seat Cushion Cover and Pad Replacement (Avalanche/Escalade EXT) .

Rear Seat Recliner Bolt (Qty: 4)

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Tighten: 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
