Removal Procedure

    NOTE: DO NOT apply paint or clear coat to the antenna. This will damage the function of the antenna, causing poor reception or loss of signal reception.
  1. Remove the windshield side garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Side Garnish Molding Replacement .
  2. Remove the sunshade from the headliner. Refer to Sunshade Replacement .
  3. Remove the center pillar upper garnish molding. Refer to Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
  4. IMPORTANT: Complete removal of the headliner is not required.
  5. Lower the front corner of the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (SUT) or Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (SUV) .

  7. Disconnect the wire harness to the roof antenna.
  8. Remove the antenna fastener.
  9. Remove the antenna from the roof.
