Body Side Trim Panel Replacement - Left Side

Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the rear seat number 2, if equipped. Refer to Rear Number 2 Seat Replacement .
2. Remove the left body lock pillar garnish molding - upper. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper (SUV)  or Body Lock Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement - Upper (SUT) .
3. Remove the body lock pillar trim assembly. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Trim Replacement .
4. Remove the body side trim panel stowage pocket. Refer to Body Side Trim Panel Stowage Pocket Replacement .
5. Remove the liftgate sill panel trim. Refer to Liftgate Sill Trim Plate Replacement .
6. Remove the left body rear corner upper garnish molding. Refer to Body Rear Corner Upper Garnish Molding Replacement .
7. Remove the jack assembly.

Tighten:  2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

Procedure

1. Grasp the trim panel and pull outward disengaging the retainer clips securing the trim panel to the body.
2. When replacing the body side trim panel, transfer all necessary parts.
