SRS Symptom Troubleshooting Index

Symptom	Diagnostic procedure	Also check for
SRS indicator does not come on	Symptom Troubleshooting	-
SRS indicator stays on, but no DTCs are stored, or cannot be read	NOTE: If any of the CAN communication failure DTC is indicated in other system, troubleshoot the DTC first. Check for open wire or shorted wire in the F-CAN circuit; - Between the SRS unit and the CAN gateway (F-CAN C_H, F-CAN C_L) - Between the CAN gateway and the gauge control module (F-CAN D_H, F-CAN D_L) Check the SRS unit power circuit (IG1_SRS). Check the SRS unit ground circuit (GND). Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function .	Check the deployed history . Front passenger's airbag cutoff indicator flashes	Check for DTCs. If any DTC is indicated, go to the DTC troubleshooting	Front passenger's weight sensor initialization
Front passenger's airbag cutoff indicator does not come on	Check for DTCs. If any DTC is indicated, go to the DTC troubleshooting	DTC B00D5-14 troubleshooting
Front seat belt reminder indicator does not come on, turn off, or flash	Symptom Troubleshooting	-
