Bed Floor Removal/Installation

NOTE:

Put on gloves to protect your hands.
Take care not to scratch the bed panels or the body.
Have some assistants help you when removing and installing the bed floor.

Remove these items:
- Bed rail trim, both sides (see BED RAIL TRIM REPLACEMENT ).
- Rear roof trim (see REAR ROOF TRIM REPLACEMENT ).
- Front bed panel (see FRONT BED PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- C-pillar outer trim, both sides (see C-PILLAR OUTER TRIM REPLACEMENT ).
- Side bed panel, both sides (see SIDE BED PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
Open the in-bed trunk lid. Remove the spare tire tray bolts (A), then pull out the spare tire tray (B).

Remove the jack and the tool box (A). Remove the anchor bolt (B), then remove the anchor bolt adapter (C), the spare tire (D), and the spare tire tray (E).

From under the body, remove the bolts, then remove the silencer baffle plate (A).

Remove the TORX bolts with a TORX T50 bit, then remove the front lower tie-down hooks (A) from both sides of the bed floor (B).

From the rear right side of the bed floor, detach the in-bed trunk lid subharness connector (A), and disconnect it. Detach the harness clip (B).

Remove the plug caps (A) and bolts from the bed floor (B).

Open the in-bed trunk lid (A), then remove the bolts.

Attach a hoist (A) and rope with hooks (B) to the holes (C) in the bed floor (D) as shown.

Have some assistants help you, lift the bed floor up, and remove it in the sequence shown. Take care not scratch the body.

Install the bed floor in the reverse order of removal, and make sure the in-bed trunk lid subharness connector is plugged in properly.
