Side Bed Panel Removal/Installation

NOTE:

Remove these items:
- Bed rail trim (see BED RAIL TRIM REPLACEMENT ).
- Rear roof trim (see REAR ROOF TRIM REPLACEMENT ).
- Front bed panel (see FRONT BED PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
- Cargo area front light (see HIGH MOUNT BRAKE LIGHT REPLACEMENT ).
- C-pillar outer trim (see C-PILLAR OUTER TRIM REPLACEMENT ).
Remove the TORX bolts with a TORX T50 bit, then remove the rear tie-down hooks (A) from the rear end of the side bed panel (B).

Open the tailgate in the drop-down mode.
Remove the TORX bolts with a TORX T40 bit. Lift the side bed panel (A) up, and disconnect the cargo area rear light connector (B), then remove the panel. Take care not to scratch the body.

If necessary, remove the bolt, then remove the tie-down bracket (A) from the body.

Install the panel in the reverse order of removal, and make sure the cargo area rear light connector is plugged in properly.
