Removal Procedure

Remove both rear wheelhouse liners. Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Except Bison) , or Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (Bison)
Remove the fuel tank filler pipe from the pickup box:
- For LCV engine, refer to Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Replacement .
- For LWN engine, refer to Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Replacement .
- For LGZ engine, refer to Fuel Tank Filler Pipe Replacement .
Remove the Pickup box endgate. Pickup Box Endgate Replacement
Remove the spare wheel hoist lock cylinder. Spare Wheel Hoist Lock Cylinder Replacement
Disconnect all electrical connectors and wiring harnesses from the pickup box.

NOTE:
Apply tape/protection to the areas where the pickup box, cab and rear bumper would meet to prevent damage to the painted surfaces.

Remove the front pickup box bolt (1) on both sides.

Remove the 2 middle pickup box bolts (1) on both sides.

Remove the rear pickup box bolt (1) on both sides.

With the aid of assistants remove the pickup box and place on suitable stands.
Transfer any parts as needed if replacing the pickup box.
