Removal Procedure

  1. Recover the air conditioning system refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-134a) Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging (R-1234yf) 
  2. Remove Air Cleaner Outlet Duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement (LGX) .
  3. Remove Air Cleaner Assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LGX)
    4. Fig 1: Radiator Upper Bracket (LTG, LGX)

  4. Remove Radiator Upper Bracket (2). Refer to Radiator Upper Bracket Replacement (LTG, LGX)
  5. Remove Front Bumper Fascia Center Support (Lower). Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Center Support Replacement
  6. Remove Front Bumper Impact Bar. Refer to Front Bumper Impact Bar Replacement
    7. NOTE:

    Cap the fittings and plug the holes when removing the transmission fluid cooler pipe and the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe.

  7. Place a drain pan under the transmission fluid cooler pipe and the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe.

  8. Remove Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe (2). Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LGX With RWD, With V03)

  9. Remove Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe (2) @ Air Conditioning Condenser. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LGX With RWD, With V03)
  10. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (ATS)

  11. Remove Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose (2) @ Air Conditioning Condenser. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Hose Replacement (LGX)

  12. Remove Condenser Outlet Tube (5). Refer to Condenser Outlet Tube Replacement (LGX)

  13. Remove Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector (2). Refer to Radiator Air Upper Baffle and Deflector Replacement (LGX)
