Removal Procedure

- Remove the charge air cooler radiator. Refer Charge Air Cooler Radiator Replacement (LTG) .
- Drain the engine cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) .
- Remove the radiator inlet hose (2) from the radiator. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LTG) .
- Remove the radiator outlet hose (2) from the radiator. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LTG without V03) Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LTG with V03) .
- Disconnect the radiator surge tank inlet hose from the radiator. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Replacement (LTG) .
- Remove the transmission fluid cooler pipe (2) from the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Replacement (LCV With V03, LTG With V03) .
- Remove the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe (2) from the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LTG With AWD, Without V03)Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LTG With RWD, Without V03)Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LTG With RWD, With V03)Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LTG With AWD, With V03) .
- Remove the engine coolant fan shroud (2) from the radiator. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement (LTG without V03) Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement (LTG with VO3) .
- Remove three push pin retainers at the bottom of the radiator and remove the radiator lower air baffle and deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Lower Baffle and Deflector Replacement (LTG) .
- Lift up to remove the radiator (1) from the vehicle.
