Installation Procedure

- Install the radiator assembly (1) to the vehicle.
- Install three push pin retainers at the bottom of the radiator and install the radiator lower air baffle and deflector. Refer to Radiator Air Lower Baffle and Deflector Replacement (LTG) .
- Install the engine coolant fan shroud (2) to the radiator. Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement (LTG without V03) Engine Coolant Fan Shroud Replacement (LTG with VO3) .
- Install the transmission fluid cooler inlet and outlet pipe (2) to the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LTG With AWD, Without V03)Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LTG With RWD, Without V03)Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LTG With RWD, With V03)Transmission Fluid Cooler Inlet and Outlet Pipe Replacement (LTG With AWD, With V03) .
- Install the transmission fluid cooler pipe (2) to the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Pipe Replacement (LCV With V03, LTG With V03) .
- Connect the radiator surge tank inlet hose to the radiator. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Inlet Hose Replacement (LTG) .
- Install the radiator outlet hose (2) to the radiator. Refer to Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LTG without V03) Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement (LTG with V03) .
- Install the radiator inlet hose (2) to the radiator. Refer to Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement (LTG) .
- Install the charge air cooler radiator. Refer Charge Air Cooler Radiator Replacement (LTG) .
- Fill the engine cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716) .
- Check the cooling system for leaks. Refer to Cooling System Leak Testing .
