  • Circuitry.

 REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL .
The instrument cluster illumination is inoperative
  • Circuitry.
  • Instrument cluster.
  • Instrument cluster miniature bulb.
 INSTALL a new instrument cluster. REFER to INSTRUMENT PANEL . TEST the system for normal operation.
The climate control panel illumination is inoperative
  • Circuitry.
  • Climate control panel assembly.
  • Illumination bulb.
 GO to PINPOINT TEST A  .
The audio system illumination is inoperative
  • Circuitry.
  • Audio unit.
  • Illumination bulb.
 GO to PINPOINT TEST B  .
The instrument panel illumination does not dim
  • Circuitry.
  • Instrument panel dimmer switch.
  • Illumination bulb.
 GO to PINPOINT TEST C  .
The rear defrost switch illumination is inoperative
  • Circuitry.
  • Illumination bulb.
 GO to PINPOINT TEST D  .
The 4 wheel drive switch illumination is inoperative (if equipped)
  • Circuitry.
  • Illumination bulb.
 GO to PINPOINT TEST E  .
The power window switch illumination is inoperative (if equipped)
  • Circuitry.
  • Power window switch.
 VERIFY that the power windows operate correctly. INSTALL a new power window switch. REFER to GLASS, FRAMES & MECHANISMS .
The hazard switch illumination is inoperative
  • Circuitry.
  • Hazard switch.
 GO to PINPOINT TEST F  .
The front fog lamp switch illumination is inoperative (if equipped)
  • Circuitry.
  • Illumination bulb.
 GO to PINPOINT TEST G  .
