Fender, Front: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle.
  3. Remove the front wheel.
  4. Remove the front wheelhouse splash shield, Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, FRONT WHEELHOUSE, REMOVAL .
  5. Remove the front fascia, Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL .
  6. Remove the two fasteners (1) securing the fender's front dogleg to the front end module.

  7. Accessing through the wheelhouse, remove the bolt (1) securing the fender's rear bracket to the body side bracket.

  8. Remove the sill cladding, Refer to CLADDING, BODY, REMOVAL .
  9. Remove the two bolts (1) securing the lower fender to the sill.

  10. Lower the vehicle.
  11. Open the door and remove the upper rear fastener (1).

  12. Open the hood and support with a suitable support device.
  13. Remove the hood hinge, Refer to HINGE, HOOD, REMOVAL .
  14. Remove the fasteners (1) securing the inner fender ledge.
  15. Remove the fender from the vehicle.
