Hinge, Hood: Removal

  1. Open and support the hood (1) with a suitable prop or block.
  2. Using a grease pencil or equivalent, mark the position of the hood hinge (5) to aid in installation.
  3. Remove the hood gas prop (4). Refer to PROP, GAS, REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the bolts (3) from the body.
  5. Remove the bolts (2) from the hood, and remove the hood hinge.
