Installation Procedure

    With the aid of an assistant, position the instrument carrier (1) in the vehicle.

  2. Reposition the instrument panel wiring harness into the vehicle position as was noted in the removal and connect the fasteners securing the instrument panel wiring harness to the instrument carrier.

    Retainer (3) - Install

  4. Wiring Harness Connector (2) - Disconnect
  5. Retainer (1) - Install [3x]

    Retainer (1) - Install

  7. {If equipped} Wiring Harness Connector (2) - Connect

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

    Instrument Panel Airbag Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] 9 N.m (80 lb in)

  11. Wiring Harness Connector (2) - Connect [2x]

    Instrument Panel Bolt (1) - Install and tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)

  13. Instrument Panel Compartment Door Latch Striker Bolt (2) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
