Rear Window Shelf Trim Panel Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Fold the rear seat down.
  2. Remove the rear seat head restraint. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  3. Remove the upper quarter trim panel assembly. Refer to Lock Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement (Coupe)  or Lock Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Replacement (Sedan) .
  4. Remove the lock pillar lower panel assembly. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Garnish Lower Molding Replacement (Coupe)  or Body Lock Pillar Garnish Lower Molding Replacement (Sedan) .
  5. Remove the rear seat belt anchor bolts. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Replacement . Release escutcheon, then feed escutcheon and webbing through opening in rear shelf.
  6. Lift the front forward edge of the shelf trim upward.
  7. Release the 2 rear window shelf trim retaining clips which are accessible from the rear compartment of the vehicle.
