Preliminary Procedures Remove the center console extension. Refer to Front Floor Console Extension Replacement - Center . Remove the console. Refer to Console Replacement . Disconnect the shift control cables. Refer to Floor Shift Control Cable Replacement (Automatic Transmission) or Shift Cable Replacement (Manual Transmission). Remove the body control module. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement .
1	Instrument Panel Center Support Bracket Screws (Qty: 4) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 2 N.m (18 lb in)
2	Instrument Panel Center Support Bracket Bolts (Qty: 3) Tighten: 25 N.m (18 lb ft)
3	Instrument Panel Center Support Bracket Assembly Tip: Remove the shift control assembly from the instrument panel center support bracket. Refer to Transmission Control Replacement (Automatic Transmission) or Transmission Control Replacement (Manual Transmission).
