Preliminary Procedures Remove the seat belt buckles. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Buckle Replacement (Impala with AM9) or Rear Seat Belt Buckle Replacement (Impala without AM9) or Rear Seat Belt Buckle Replacement (Monte Carlo) . Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Impala) or Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Monte Carlo) .
1	Rear Seat Back Cushion Bolts (Qty: 3) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 45 N.m (33 lb ft)
2	Rear Seat Back Cushion Nut Tighten: 45 N.m (33 lb ft)
3	Rear Seat Back Cushion Tip: Lift upward to clear the retaining hooks on the seat back to remove. The removal and installation for the standard and the split bench seat are the same.
