Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the rear quarter upper trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Impala)  or Rear Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement (Monte Carlo) .
  2. Remove the rear seat back. Refer to Seat Back Replacement - Rear (Impala) or Seat Back Replacement - Rear (Monte Carlo) .
  3. Remove the rear seat belt bolts.
