Preliminary Procedure: Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Impala) or Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Monte Carlo) .
1	Rear Seat Back Cushion Bolt (Qty: 2) NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 45 N.m (33 lb ft)
2	Rear Seat Back Cushion Nut Tighten: 45 N.m (33 lb ft)
3	Rear Seat Back Bolt (Qty: 4) Tip: Fold the rear seat back down to access the bolts. Tighten: 10 N.m(89 lb in)
4	Rear Seat Back Cushion Lift upward to clear the retaining hooks on the seat back to remove. The removal and installation for the standard and the split bench seat are the same.
