Preliminary Procedures Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Remove the front fenders. Refer to Front Fender Replacement . Remove the air cleaner. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LF3)Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LGX) , or Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement Reposition the radiator with the A/C condenser from the upper tie bar. Refer to Radiator Upper Bracket Replacement (LTG, LGX) . Remove the hood primary and secondary latch. Refer to Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement (CTS) Hood Primary and Secondary Latch Replacement (CTS-V) . Airbag front end discriminating sensor. Refer to Front End Inflatable Restraint Discriminating Sensor Replacement . Front bumper fascia center support. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Center Support Replacement (Upper)Front Bumper Fascia Center Support Replacement (Lower) . Remove the front fender front lower bracket. Refer to Front Fender Front Lower Bracket Replacement .
1	Front Compartment Front Panel Bolt (Qty: 6) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 11 N.m (97 lb in)
2	Front Compartment Front Panel Lower Bolt (Qty: 8) Tighten 11 N.m (97 lb in)
3	Front End Sheet Metal Cross Brace Upper Bolt (Qty: 2) NOTE: Reposition each brace if needed.
4	Front Compartment Front Panel Procedure Disconnect the electrical connectors/harnesses as needed. Disconnect the hood latch cable from the tie bar. Transfer any parts as needed.
